The signs are for cars. The truck speed limit in most European countries is 80km/h. And it's not legal to speed when you are passing another vehicle. ;) Exactly. You can set an option (gameplay I think) for the nav system to show the truck speed limit instead of the 'actual' speed limit too, which can be helpful. It's a bit unfair :-
In real trucks you have speed limiter that is always on. Of course, someone can argue that you can turn it off, so turning it off in game isn't that bad. Well - it is. Great majority (i would say all, but there is always some small % of people who try to cheat) of drivers don't try to mess with this.

I wanted a mod which removes the Speed Limit as it comes off as annoying and it's definetely not realistic, while keeping the other traffic offenses active. I played fast deliveries to make lvl 16 and get my own truck, i got it, 750hp, and when i started playing, it s not going above 90km/h. With Fast deliveries i had even 150km/h, i don t have the speed limit on, it s somehow deactivated, i cant turn it on or off, what can I do, please help me

Euro Truck Simulator 2. Truck speed limiter. I can't drive more than 90 kilometers because the "truck speed limiter" doesn't working. Just stop doing World of Trucks contracts. World of Truck contracts are always limited to 90 kmh/65 mph. you CANNOT turn off that limit.
Because this is simulator and try to simulate real trucking skills and traffic behavoring. Idea to loosing your driving license for breaking speed limits, game over and start beginning. This same happens in real life, when your get your personal account certain number of penalties, you lose your driving license. Personally, I suggest you leave the limiter on because most countries (only exceptions being UK and Romania), have speed limits for trucks of 90 or lower. speed limit of trucks in the US is 65mph highway. and sometimes even 70 soo yea. if they want to do it they should do it right. not halfassed. This is Euro Truck Simulator not US Truck Simulator. Europe has a speed limiter on their trucks so the maximum speed is 90kmh. They did it right, this is not need for speed with trucks.

1. increase/decrease trucks max_speed values (what I did in my sounds packs) 2. add a rule to allow Ai randomly avoiding the speed limit with a certain value (which I did in my traffic density mod) therefore you have trucks driving under or at speed limit and also beyond that which is much more realistic. The game and how the driving physics was made (for trucks), it's simple not made to drive faster than, at top, 100 km/h without having major issues. As been said, this is a trucking game, not a car (or truck-) racing game. Of course, you are free to do whatever you want, WITHIN the hardcoded limit. kxgDOq.
