Yep 36 hours has always been a “constant”. I have just updated to watch 09 and was surprised to see that after 36 hours I still had 25% battery left. I was much surprised!! Nobody can say how long YOUR battery will last because every person has a different use. Find your own level.

apples reasoning for why it doesn’t makes some sense on analog faces: they want the seconds hand to sweep smoothly like a real mechanical watch, not ‘tick tick’ like a cheap quartz watch. mredofcourse. • 1 yr. ago. I think this is the answer. If you do a workout, the time shows seconds.
Ilike it on the apple watch but can't imagine I like it on the iphone. Time will tell. But AOD is a HUGE battery hit. I'm getting like a whole day more battery life with my series 7 if I deactivate it. I don't know what hz the watch is using when AOD is activated but I would guess it's very noticeable on the iphone too.
staiano• 10 mo. ago. I was not sure. I mean this is Apple. They often do stuff because they want to do it without thinking whether you want it as a consumer. Look at the eSIM, look at the headphone jack, look at not usb-c on iPhone, look at removing MagSafe and other ports only to bring them back on MBP.
Alwayson display - seems minor, but this is something I always wanted with my S4 - it’s really annoying when you glance at the watch and the display doesn’t flash on, causing you to have to jerk your arm around. It typically does, but if you’re in a position that your arm isn’t fully raised it sometimes doesn’t.
Ibought mine used (still 100% battery capacity) and have same as yours, 2 full days and 10-12% battery left. Which I find pretty low comparing to some people getting 3-3,5 days battery range! 🧐 I’m testing right now without complications
Ifyou’re not into the extra features of the Series 6, then you probably wouldn’t be into the extras in the next Apple Watch. As far as the differences: Series 6 has Always On Display, ECG (users over 22 years of age) and Blood Oxygen. So the SE would be a

When you flick your wrist, the screen turns on for a moment, until the watch decides you have rotated your wrist back or until a predetermined time limit is reached.
Starlightis the best color! I'm in love with the Starlight color. Looks great! On Roman clock faces, “IIII” is often used in place of “IV” for the “4 o'clock” (excuse me 04:00 or 16:00 per ISO9000 🙂 !). This is apparently because “IV” is an abbreviation for “Jupiter” in Roman times.
Ialways used always on display ever since I got the Apple Watch Series 7. I always knew it used up more battery life, but I didn’t think it was by this much. With always on display I’d usually go from 100% in the morning to about 30% end of day. With it turned off I got from 100% in the morning to 70% end of day. 0.
Iwould say that the S6 with AOD on lasts longer than the S3- I give a quick charge in the morning when I get ready (Sleep tracking takes quite a bit of battery but the S6 charges 20% faster than the SE and S3, so I typically leave with a full charge) Battery life is really not a problem with this watch, I typically get home with ~20%. 2.

3 Sgthouse. • 2 mo. ago. I’ve tried and tried to ask and search about this. All you’ll get told is no. If you follow up by asking what makes Apple displays special to where they won’t, at best you get sent a link to an article that also just says they don’t. AJT-. • 2 mo. ago. No.
AlwaysOn Display vs. Not Always On. Discussion. Am considering my first AW (hi!). I am mostly interested in the daily calorie count/heart rate/exercise functions. I know the new
Finallygot new apple watch 8 after selling my apple watch 2 two years ago. What happened to the face on the left? I cannot find it on apple watch 8. I prefer the left face rather than the middle. Is it changed?
Yes it is. You can disable AOD in the watch settings. There is also theatre mode that you can activate from the control center of your watch: until this mode is active the the
SEis basically a series 4 which most people will say has been the best overall value of apple watch. Got the new design, the chip is still only 1 generation behind now and gives all the features of 3. The 3 is just to see the $199 price tag, but the SE will last so much longer then the 3 for only $80 bucks more.
Whichsounds ridiculous for an always on display. I’ve been ill the last few days and unable to sleep and every time I look over to my phone to see the time, the always on display has turned off and I have to tap the phone to turn the screen back on. I feel like I must be doing something wrong because surely you can keep it on all the time.
Series5: ECG monitor. SE: might support software updates for an extra generation as it is a newer device. I was torn between the two and decided to pick up at Series 5 44mm over the weekend on sale. Loving the always on display more
