Professions. Ranger. Ranger elite specialization for the 3rd expansion. With the recent announcement of a third expansion I thought it would be fun for us GW2 rangers to speculate/make requests for what we want our next elite specialization to be.In my view this thread is for ranger players, not ranger haters.

The profession can use this weapon in this slot after unlocking it via the Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure expansion in its second major release. Every hero challenge in the expansion gives you 10 points. I always do a quick run through the HoT maps and get the easy hero Points that just require you to press f on the commune point, that should get you about 100 Hero Points, then I do every PoF hero point because they are all soloable. Mesmer. New Elite Specialization - Mentalist (Concept) Hello everyone! I came up with a concept for a new mesmer elite spec. It draws ideas from the original idea of a mesmer (a profession which tricks and confuses the opponent), from GW1 skills and I tried to address some issues all mesmer specs are missing as of today. Following a few basic guidelines for previous elite specializations:-No completely new weapon types not already in game--but re-skins (staff as a scythe) or re-imaginations of how to use existing ones (how a revenant uses a hammer) are fine.-It has been expressly stated that new elite specs are often one profession seen through the "lens" of If you can't join HP trains, you can do most of them solo. VB 11/11 is quite easy to do, just ask for help in map chat. This has a list of the soloable HPs. I'd say 2+ hours to get the elite spec unlocked, but may be longer if it is your first time or if you are not familiar with the maps. Here's an alternate way on how to play Warrior: Step 1) disregard mix-maxing and cookie-cutting Step 2) Pick traits that you want to try out.Don't rely on builds posted by others on the internet. It is a combat mech summon from the Canthan line of Jade Mech automated assistants. Jade Mech CJ-1 is controlled similarly to ranger 's pets, while its skills and attributes can be customized There’s even a pretty big change coming to Guild Wars 2 ‘s elite specialization weapons which is sure to go down a treat. After coming to Steam last year, Guild Wars 2 Secrets of the Obscure Soulbeast is the best damage spec for ranger, and it has high burst in PvP due to longbow 2, while also having good traits and utilities. Merging with smokescale or birds gives you amazing mobility too, with either a shadowstep or multiple good movement skills. It also uses longbow in PvE, but with how boons are generated the range typically 5 days ago · You must complete all core specializations in order to start training an elite specialization. You get hero points when you level. Throughout levelling to 80, you get exactly enough hero points to unlock all base specializations and skills. Any hero points you get in the world just allow you to get those unlocks sooner, and once you are level 80, can be used to start unlocking elite specializations.
So elite specializations bring 4 things to the table: 1- new traits 2- new utilities 3- new profession mechanics 4- new elite specialization weapon In many cases, #4 is the least impactful. So take Necromancer as an example. The Reaper Elite gives you access to Greatsword, but replaces Death Shroud with Reaper Shroud.
To begin training a specialization your character must be at least level 21, then follow the below steps. PvP players do not need to unlock anything, as all skills and traits available to the account will be unlocked while within the Heart of the Mists . Step 1: Open your Hero panel and go to the Training tab.
Now, you say its rephrasing of an elite spec. Which it isn't and here's why. Elite specializations come with a new weapon, a completely new specialization with12 new traits, a new profession mechanic and 6 new utility. Any one of these parts does not equal a whole. New traits don't mean a new elite specialization.
